Craft Beer & Brewing

Wait

The next two weeks will seem like an eternity, but it's important that you give your beer enough time to carbonate. Keep the bottles at room temperature, or slightly above, in a dark location.

As the yeast consumes the small amount of priming sugar you added at bottling, it will produce a very small amount of alcohol, as well as enough carbon dioxide to naturally carbonate your beer.

Remember, two weeks minimum!
