Pour

It's finally time.

Remove a bottle from the refrigerator and crack it open. Observe the sound it makes. As you gain experience, you'll be able to gauge effervescence from this sound alone.

Tilt a clean beer glass at about a 45° angle, and gently pour about 2/3 of the bottle down the side of the glass. When the glass is about 2/3 full, straighten it up and pour straight down the middle to create a nice, fluffy head.

Be careful to stop pouring when the beer pouring out of the bottle becomes cloudy. You want to leave the last few drops in the bottle along with the yeast that will have compacted on the bottom of the bottle.

Before you drink your beer, rinse out the bottle and put it away for your next batch!
