What Our Editors Thought
"Light black tea and lemon lay over a mild mineral funk, but its power is in its restraint. Expressively deep and confident in its complexity."
What Our Panel Thought
" Subtle and restrained funkiness on the nose with notes of leather, oak, lemon, peach, and horse blanket. This is paired with a soft grainy malt body and slightly tart finish. Refreshing and crisp with delicate fermentation notes. Really well-done."
What the Brewers Say
"Traditionally made blend of 1-, 2-, and 3-year-old spontaneous ale. The beer had an average age of 22 months at bottling and has since aged in the bottle for about 1 year."
