AB InBev Buys Blue Point Brewing

We’e not going. We’re growing,” reads the title on Blue Point Brewing Company’s blog post. “The new relationship with Anheuser-Busch is a huge step for Blue Point Brewing Company and everyone here is on board and looking forward to the future. We’ve always focused on our employees, the community, and, of course, the beer – and that will not change,” the post continues.

Founded in 1998 by Mark Burford and Pete Cotter, and headquartered in Patchogue, New York, Blue Point Brewing Company is ranked among the top 40 craft beer breweries in the United States. Blue Point is known for its creativity in brewing, with its Toasted Lager and Hoptical Illusion craft beers being among its most well known.

Fingers crossed that Blue Point will continue to produce award-winning craft beers after the deal closes early in the second quarter.
