What Our Editors Thought

Sharp oak tannin, light acetic acid, and a tropical-citrus line through the nose. In the sip, the acid sits back to allow tropical fruit flavors to push forward in an unstructured but delicious display.

What Our Panel Thought

Subtle, compelling aroma: light herbal, peach, lemon, leather, barnyard. In the flavor, balanced but vinegar-like acidity with fruit-forward notes: pear, apricot, mango, Sour Patch Kids. Ethyl acetate (solventy)—not enough to be off-putting, but competes with subtle, more pleasant flavors. Finishes dry. Sour candy vibe, with funk for complexity.

What the Brewers Say

Three-year blend of Southwest Michigan spontaneous beer, matured in oak barrels.
