What Our Editors Thought
Vegetal, apple-ish nose offers a curious entrance. The sip leads with clunky, dirty, grilled apple-and-pineapple notes, before resolving into a lightly acidic citrus finish. Relatively unrefined.
What Our Panel Thought
Apple-juice aroma, with mild sulfur and vegetal notes. More lemon verbena as it warms. Lemon-forward flavor with fruit, pith, peel, and doughy wheat. Pillowy texture, moderate acidity. Finishes dry with lingering lemon, honey, and peppery spice. Nice lemony, cider-like drinking beer.
What the Brewers Say
Blend of aged and young wild ales.
