What Our Editors Thought

"Golden and clear 'stout,' with light caramel and coffee on the nose. Maple and vanilla buoy the flavor, supported by subtle roast and a light body. A touch sweet while also bitter, with space between the two."

What Our Panel Thought

"Notable roasted coffee with hints of vanilla, leather, and biscuit. Lovely appearance. Sweeter than expected, but not cloying. Vanilla flavors and spiced apple come through. Biscuit and pie crust give a solid malt base. The coffee comes through in spades and lingers strongly. Definitely feels more like a coffee-infused beer than a blonde stout, with strong coffee bitterness in the finish."

What the Brewers Say

"This Stout appears golden but has aromas of a traditional stout. The aroma up front is lightly roasted coffee w/ hints of vanilla in the background. Finishes dry and crisp like a golden ale."
