What Our Editors Thought
"Highly aromatic, with intense notes of baking spices—allspice, cinnamon, clove. A lean body carries gentle breadiness, toffee, and biscuit-like flavors through to the finish."
What Our Panel Thought
"Notable pumpkin spice aroma with biscuit and light toast. Spiced apple, cinnamon, and other baking spices. Beautiful beer. Fairly malt-forward with light sweetness that compliments the mild spices. Pumpkin captures solid flavor of roasted squash, sweetness helps abate the vegetal notes. Finish is malty, clean with lingering spices. Well balanced, not overbearing."
What the Brewers Say
We brewed up an Imperial Amber Ale as our binding potion w/ a big malty, biscuity, caramel flavor. Then we add pumpkin and spice, lots of ginger and clove w/ a bit of cinnamon and allspice to balance w/ just enough hops to give it a bit of sweetness.
