What Our Editors Thought

Lightly fruity, but heavily dank, nose with a touch of bread malt behind it. The sip feels classic, with more toasted bread crust and a strong but well-integrated bitterness. Comforting and familiar, with an occasional wild streak.

What Our Panel Thought

Bready malt buoys a mild wash of herbal hops in the nose—a touch of pine, a tad dank, with citrus background. In the flavor, bread crust and a hint of sweetness carry the beer to dryness. The herbal hop character expands with some spicy notes and a fruity ester. Refreshing, approachable. Exemplary. I could have one of these every day.

What the Brewers Say

Killer ’Stashe began as a revival of the classic American pale ale and has evolved into a modern NW pale showcasing a single hop variety.
