“Persistent tan head with glassy foam, over a very dark brown body just short of opaque. Warm baked chocolate-cake aroma with a bit of cooler-toned char. Light and reserved in the sip, with a bit of cacao-nib huskiness, but clean and controlled.”

“Sweet, roasty aroma, light caramel and coffee. Pleasant roast and toasted-nut character throughout. Medium assertive bitterness. Light-ish on the tongue, with a crisp finish of chocolate and toast. Reserved, but refined. Classic dry stout.”
