What Our Editors Thought
Caramel and golden raisin on the nose; flashes of Brett and musty-orchard acetic. The sip goes light on funk, with a bracing sweet-sour apple cider vinegar approach muscling out delicate notes. Intense and overwhelming.
What Our Panel Thought
Bright, funky aroma with low-level horse blanket and barnwood; floral, cidery, with honey notes. Bracing acetic sourness, like sour lemon candy, with low sweetness in back. Soft mouthfeel, low carbonation. Acidity is sharp, while the funk wants time. A sipper for sourheads.
What the Brewers Say
Imbued with the brewery's own wild Georgia yeast strain and matured for months in North Georgia wine barrels.
