What Our Panel Thought
Aroma: “Guava bomb with a hint of funk at the end of the fruit aroma. Lemony tartness. Really distinctive and interesting. No hops aroma detected. Low toasted malt. Bready.”
Flavor: “Guava is again very prominent, but not overly sweet, adding a bright tropical-fruit character on top of a pleasantly tart beer. Finish has a slight sour bite that essentially serves as the bitter character to balance the fruitiness up front. Very refreshing and lively on the tongue.”
Overall: “Tropical-smoothie, guava-bomb beer. Bright and crisp with a clarity of flavor that delivers exactly as one would expect.”
What the Brewers Say
“An approachable tartness with hints of citrus and tropical fruits with a crisp, dry finish.”
