What Our Editors Thought
Peach and apricot on the nose, with a touch of cereal. The sip is strongly acidic, with a burst of stone fruit and lemon. The mineral content dries it out quickly; endearing stone fruit lingers. Shocking acid level.
What Our Panel Thought
Aroma of pineapple, lemon, lemongrass, leather, oak-derived vanilla, and stone fruit; cereal-like sweetness dances in the background. In the flavor, strong acidity—lemon, pineapple, black tea, funky horse blanket, leather, and hay. Complex, interesting.
What the Brewers Say
A blend of four barrels. Tart aroma with oak and fruit, light body, effervescent, medium acidity, and rounded out with light Brett funk.
