Aroma: “Plum, prune, raisin, caramel, vanilla, sweet grape, and licorice mix with light floral/perfume hops. Caramel and vanilla oak aromas combined with banana and sweet brown malt.”

Flavor: “Fruitcake-like, nuts, dried cherries, dates, almonds, raisin, caramel, peanut brittle. Wood is well-played but doesn’t upstage the fruity malt profile. Low earthy hops flavor. The finish is like malted milk balls and lightly toasted bread topped with molasses.”

Overall: “A British Old Ale winter warmer at its almost-finest.”
