“Holy maple, that runs the show. Bit of spirit comes out when it warms. A cinnamony hot-chocolate sludge (in a good way), slight roastiness. Rye dries out the palate and makes you breathe O-rings of coffee breath. The barrel character makes for a plummy, dried dark-fruit character.”
