What Our Editors Thought

The light mineral, lambic-esque funk on the nose offers glimpses of stone fruit, tire rubber, overripe tropical fruit, pencil shavings, light berry. Delicate and refined with a clever interplay between the familiar and the exotic, it hits familiar notes while suggesting something new. The sip takes that dichotomy to new heights, presenting fruit, then sweeping those stone-fruit notes away in a wash of faint sulphur, light minerality, and carbonic edge, but it’s so even-keeled. Masterfully balanced and deeply nuanced. An exquisite drinking experience.

What Our Panel Thought

Floral, fruity nose—notes of apricot, lighter stone fruit, chanterelles. Bright and refreshing flavor with notes of grapefruit pith, malty sweetness and a lovely balance among restrained tartness; soft, dusty bitterness; lively mouthfeel; and an earthy, clean, drying finish. Beautifully complex, balanced, and drinkable.

What the Brewers Say

Belgian-style sour ale fermented and aged in oak barrels with apricot and rhubarb.
