Small Brewery Sunday is November 29. The annual campaign to support smaller, independent breweries means more than usual this year, with a dire winter ahead for the hospitality trade.

The long-term effects of the pandemic closures are unclear, but a Brewers Association survey of their member breweries suggests that the impact will be severe, causing tectonic shifts in the beer landscape.

The Brewers Association's 2018 numbers show that craft beer is still growing, but also that growth has slowed considerably. The strongest growth is coming from newer breweries. Meanwhile more drinkers are getting their beer directly from the source.
