What Our Editors Thought
Opaque, peachy color builds expectations for a tame orange-ish nose. The sip springs to life with bright, natural blood orange, minimal bitterness, and a tame sweetness in tight balance. Polished, integrated, greater than the sum of its parts.
What Our Panel Thought
Aroma up front is like concentrated blood-orange puree, sweetness and all—with a tropical note and a touch of vanilla. Fairly sweet flavor, but blood-orange acidity and some pithy bitterness help to balance. Nonintrusive vodka warmth. Thick, dessert-like mixed drink—would have to be shared.
