What Our Editors Thought
Softly engaging ginger nose, spicy but not sharp. The sip balances a bit of crisp citrus sweetness with spicy burn, but it’s thoroughly integrated. Entertaining to drink without having to be the center of attention.
What Our Panel Thought
The up-front ginger is prominent but not overpowering—intensely spicy yet refreshing, approachable. Lime is present but plays a secondary role. The ginger is more complex in the flavor—a touch earthy. Telltale ginger burn lingers, helping to cut the sweetness a bit. Is this served in a copper-lined can?
What the Brewers Say
Reed’s new Zero Sugar Mule is the ultimate ready-to-drink, alcoholic craft beverage.
