What Our Editors Thought
Tropical rainbows in the nose, with gummy candy and hefty guava. Those expectations go unfulfilled, as the crisp, dry sip eschews sweetness, embracing lightly bitter tropical fruit. That austerity works, and the result is as easy to drink as the lightest juicy IPA.
What Our Panel Thought
Citrus bomb on the nose, with notes of lemongrass and dankness. Light, dry malt character, hop-forward flavor. Not overly bitter in the finish. Crisp malt base allows hops to shine. Pleasant, drinkable, but lacking depth from underlying beer.
What the Brewers Say
A crisp and quenching modern American pilsner dry hopped with hand-selected Amarillo and Loral.
