What Our Editors Thought
“Caramel plums with a bit of sun-dried tomato in the aroma. Broadly chocolate in the sip with a wide body and just a touch of bitterness.”
What Our Panel Thought
“Aroma conveys notes of caramel, leather, oak, with hints of rose, apple, pine, caramel malt. Flavor carries dark cherry and melted butter with a caramel base. Caramel malt notes provide a nice complement to the oak-derived vanillin. As it lingers on the palate, some apple-like tartness emerges.”
What the Brewers Say
“Aged in 10-year Kentucky bourbon barrels for more than 38 months.”
