What Our Editors Thought
“Toasted bread and chocolate open the aroma, followed by dry cracker malt and subtle corn sweetness. The finish remains clean, dry, and well attenuated.”
What Our Panel Thought
“Garnet-hued with a khaki-white head that clings to the glass. Chocolate, rye bread, molasses, and smoky lime-zest aromas. In the sip, cocoa nibs and cherrywood smoke with a touch of honey. Light-bodied but with a soft finish. Low carbonation, but hop bitterness helps pull it together.”
What the Brewers Say
“The same corn sweetness as our original El Rhodeo Mexican Lager but with an added roastiness.”
