What Our Panel Thought
Aroma: “Clean, light, bready aroma with a mineral background. Low sulfur notes. Nice, simple hops aroma. Malt becomes more apparent as it warms.”
Flavor: “Hops bitterness is the first impression. Very approachable, but bitterness lingers for a long time in the aftertaste. Soft malt softens the substantial bitterness. Aftertaste favors smoky phenols. Some lemon notes.”
Overall: “Clean and full flavored pils. Well made and well within the style guidelines. I would be happy to find this in my glass anytime. Easy enough to drink, but the hops flavors add more than just complexity.”
What the Brewers Say
“A perfect summer session beer. The whole leaf Aramis hops lends a spicy aroma, and light fruit notes from the dry-hopped Lemon Drop hops accentuate the clean pilsener finish.”
