What Our Panel Thought
Aroma: “Lovely, clean yeast aromatics and hints of white grape. A touch of sour apple, green apple, light pear, mineral water, and soft sweetness with just a touch of honey.”
Flavor: “A well-considered blend of apple flavors, with medium-low acidity and a bitterness level that contrasts with the perceived sweetness. Lemongrass, pineapple, and grape notes add to the fruity complexity and mild alcohol heat is present in the finish with slight peppery notes. Creamy mouthfeel and a tartness that lingers into the aftertaste.”
Overall: “This is a nice example of the stronger side of cider. Bitterness leans to the high side and balances the apple sweetness. Nice light and clean flavor, perhaps a bit tart, but definitely a serious drink—a very enjoyable cider. Crisp and dry without being too dry, and just enough sweetness to bring out the apple and other fruit esters.”
What the Brewers Say
“Tart apple aroma with tropical fruit and lemon curd notes. Fruit-forward cider dominates the palate with crisp apple and pear flavors, lingering strawberry notes, and a clean apple finish.”
