What Our Editors Thought
Crisp linen nose, woody with a touch of grape. On the sip, more grape, Concord grape juice, light grain, slight lingering sweetness, and a white wine–like, almost ‘buttery’ full body. Finishes with light bitterness.
What Our Panel Thought
Fantastic, complex fermentation profile—not over the top or harsh. Creamy on the tongue, with a rich balance of malt sweetness and Brett character. Soft, pleasant finish, with lingering hints of orange peel, white pepper, green tea. A tad sweet, given the higher gravity.
What the Brewers Say
No-nonsense, effervescent, fruity, spicy, delectable fall saison that goes perfectly with Texas BBQ and a beautiful fall Texas sunset.
