What Our Editors Thought
Soft herbal blackberry with a bit of vanilla—gentle and unassuming. The sip seems conservative in light of the shocking magenta color—mild berry and light sweetness roll languidly on the tongue, in stark contrast to the quick hit and finish typical of the style.
What Our Panel Thought
Ripe blackberry up front with a pie-crust hint in the aroma, and those notes grow in the flavor. Moderate sweetness, with a creaminess in the finish that plays up the pie-like character. While balanced, the overall sweetness bruises the drinkability. If this is dessert seltzer, I can get behind it.
