What Our Editors Thought
Lower-key raspberry nose, with bigger bass notes and rich berry undertones. The sip offers a bit of funk to help offset the intense fruit, but a chalky mineral note is a touch drying in the mouth. Finishes with berry tartness that pleasantly lingers.
What Our Panel Thought
Solid raspberry, blackberry, and light cherry aroma and funk. Light acid aroma. Bright, puckering acidity up front. Raspberry and blackberry follow. It’s not just all fruit; beer pokes its head out a bit. Light earthy bitterness. Finish is dry and very puckering.
What the Brewers Say
Blend of 1-, 2-, and 3-year-old beers spontaneously fermented in barrels and refermented with raspberries.
