“Vintage nostalgia kicks off in the aroma with oily saturated orange notes, a light vinous vibe, an earthy hop undercurrent, and bits of ginger and clove. While not modern on the palate, its refined bitterness, light gold color, and well-shaped citrus notes project an image of past IPA through today’s lens.”
What Our Panel Thought
“Pear, grape, maraschino cherry, pineapple, melon, mango on the nose with support from lemon and pine. As it warms, a bit of saltine cracker. Fruit-cocktail flavors—juicy, fresh medley. Pleasant, candied orange peel in the flavor as the bitterness slowly moves in to dry things out. Finish is a nice balance of sweet and bitter. Easy drinking for a bigger beer.”
