What Our Editors Thought

“Deep golden with white foam. Aroma echoes a mountain pasture with a compelling blend of wildflowers, dried hay, and dry evergreens heated in the afternoon sun. Full body remains concise, with a tight floral and almost vinous hop line that pulls to a tight close despite the initially sweeter impression.”

What Our Panel Thought

“Honey, graham cracker, and pie-crust aroma leads to light toast and Noble spicy hops. Light apricot peel and canned pineapple esters. Malt-forward in flavor. Biscuit, sweet cornbread, and honey. Light white-wine grape and grilled-pear esters. Notable bitterness balances fairly well. Clean warming alcohol rolls along smoothly in the mid-palate, leading to a lightly sweet and white-pepper spicy finish.”

What the Brewers Say

“Silky malt base with subtle flavors of honey and lightly toasted bread, thanks to a lighter malt bill. Complemented by gentle hop character from German-grown hops.”
