What Our Editors Thought

"Strong berry notes with a very present vanilla in the aroma. Trends a bit chalky and sweet in the the flavor, more Pez candy than Haribo gummy, but a deep fruit skin bitterness holds the structure together."

What Our Panel Thought

"Garnet colored with a deep sheen and sticky pink foam. Plum leads the aroma, with a light wash of vanilla. Aromas of red berries, currant, and vanilla followed by a vitamin-like character. The black currants come through more in the flavor with a stronger hit of vanilla. The finish is still a little sweet, but lets the fruit linger. The vanilla just barely stays within the lines. For someone not fond of vanilla, it's too much, but for most, it adds a little something special."

What the Brewers Say

"Fruited sour featuring black currant, plum, and vanilla beans and fermented with a wild yeast for sweet berry and background tannin notes."
