What Our Editors Thought
Weedy fern, aspen leaf/bark, kiwi, and humid Southern forest make this equal parts intriguing and polariz-ing. In the flavor, white-wine notes push forward with comforting touches of oak, slight sweetness, herbal-ness, and citrus.
What Our Panel Thought
Raw flour and alcohol on the nose. Hops character is more subtle than expected. Rich, chewy, fruity, and boozy. Comes across decently balanced. The heat works well with the lingering fruit notes to provide a rich warmth on the finish.
What the Brewers Say
DIPA dry hopped with a heavy hand using a blend of Simcoe, Vic Secret, and Citra.
