What Our Editors Thought
Floral chocolate and light-roast coffee in the nose, rotating between tropical fruit, chocolate-covered banana, and candied citrus with a touch of smoke. On the sip, earthy hops with fun tropical esters, balanced with slight dark-chocolate bitterness and confident malt sweetness.
What Our Panel Thought
Rich, sweet, toasted malt aroma, with layered caramel, light milk chocolate, and light smoke, supported by floral, woody hops and stone-fruit esters. Initial caramel-malt sweetness but by pleasant bitterness, with fresh, resinous piney-hop flavor that lingers. Slightly creamy finish.
What the Brewers Say
American brown ale.
