What Our Editors Thought

Raspberry and a bit of woody, mildly acetic aged quality on the nose. The sip blends a woody, berry-seed tannin with the juicier fruit aspects, along with a curious hop bitterness that persists through the swallow, as the juicier elements subside and a more intense acidity shines through. A touch rough.

What Our Panel Thought

Ripe red raspberries up front with a bit of vanilla that suggests raspberry cheesecake. Hints of cherry, rhubarb, peach, and graham cracker. The flavor is an unexpected blend of sweet raspberry syrup and a lemonade-like sweet tartness, with some leathery, tannic funk. Discord between aroma and flavor is a bit confusing.

What the Brewers Say

Blend of 4 wild ales from our cellar. Conditioned on Oregon-grown raspberries.
