From The Oxford Companion to Beer
a global producer and marketer of food, beverage, and agricultural products, as well and financial and industrial services and products, is a supplier of a wide array of specialty malts, liquid adjuncts, and flavors to the brewing industry. As of 2010, Cargill was the largest privately held company in the United States.
