What Our Editors Thought
“Big overripe tropical fruit in the aroma—mango, papaya—with more subtle strawberry notes that carry through in the flavor with a touch of herbal bitterness. Sculpted and honed yet comfortable in its quirkiness.”
What Our Panel Thought
“Huge sticky pineapple nose with Peach Ring, pine, citrus, and mango undertones. Flavor follows the aroma with low citrus (kumquat, tangerine) carried by the light crystal malt. Noticeable hop bitterness is eloquently restrained by the malt and brewer’s deft hand. Finishes dry. Very classic, drinkable West Coast IPA you’ll reach for time and again.”
What the Brewers Say
“We layered this one with heavy concentrations of Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic, and Strata. Intense flavors and aromas of passion fruit, navel orange, and Douglas fir.”
