What Our Panel Thought
Aroma: “Perfume and cologne floral aoma—not immediately identified as hops. Faint undertone of apple. Big sulfur, moderate mint, light green apple, moderate earthy, big peach, big apricot.”
Flavor: “Very dry. Medium acidity medium that stands out with near zero finishing sweetness. Mild hops bitterness, light tartness, dry-medium sweetness. Apple, peach, pear, apricot, light cherry, sulfur, mint, earthy, moderate carbonation. Very light bitter linger, dominated by the dryness and light fruit.”
Overall: “Perfume notes detract from the apple character. Hops elements are not showcased at all. A more aggressive cider would have balanced the hops more effectively, but instead the apple comes off like its own off flavor.”
What the Brewers Say
“A stunning fusion of hops and apples, fermented in the. Grapefruit and lemon aroma with spicy notes of conifers. On the palate, a bouquet of citrus, a touch of acidity and a nice roundness in the finish. Fun!”
