What Our Editors Thought

"Very light grape and pear notes in the aroma, with a bit of water cracker malt and just a touch of honey. Heavy in the sip with water more clunky than crisp, and spicy hops with an almost tannic tang."

What Our Panel Thought

"Super fresh bright clean lager with hints of corn to add intrigue. Light green apple provides a fresh snap and counters the light malt notes. Low esters indicate a skillful fermentation. Medium light and smooth bitterness balances the medium light malt backbone while the beer finishes with a touch of sweetness. The flavor is sweet and much fuller than expected, given the light color. Enhanced by the increased hop presence."

What the Brewers Say

"American Lager named after Echo Lake in New Hampshire and adorned with a forest sprite playing a sad lullaby to their departed friend. Echo is our American Lager that has a small amount of corn in the malt bill with our normal Pilsner malt. It clocks in at a Refreshing 4.3% ABV. This is homage to those beers you get and want to crush several of!"
