"Floral aroma, light pear. Quite lovely and spring-like. Light cracker and pie crust. Yellow, nearly brilliant. Good head. Quite aggressively malty and bitter for style. Notable biscuit and pie crust body is more filling than refreshing. Bitterness is fairly pronounced and balances the malt nicely. Some light berry esters. Light spicy phenol resides in the hop aftertaste, not yeast-derived. A good beer, if heavy-handed in its approach to flavor."
