What the brewers say

“Toasty, biscuit-like U.K. malts. Hints of floral hops.”

What our panel thought

“Inviting, malty-sweet aroma with a hint of nuttiness, rich roast, caramel notes, and gentle alcohol warmth. The taste follows the nose: fresh grains, sweet caramel, and a hint of herbal hops in the finish. The bitterness takes off the sweet edge. Medium finish.”

What our editors thought

“Light bready malt tones with curiously tropical guava and pink lemonade–like esters in the aroma. Malt-forward, with toasty notes in the sip, highlighted by gentle tropical overtones.”
