Craft beer continues to hit national headlines, with a new brewing certificate program in Michigan, the first Whole Foods Market brewpub in Texas, the results of the European Beer Star Awards, and more. Here’s a numerical roundup of the biggest headlines in craft beer in November.

7.6: The percentage share of the $100 billion U.S. beer market that Budweiser has. This number is down from 10 percent five years ago and from14.4 percent ten years ago, according to Beer Marketer’s Insights.

1,613: The number of entered beers from 42 countries in this year’s European Beer Star competition. Germany took home the most medals from this November’s award ceremony (18 gold, 22 silver, and 19 bronze), followed by U.S. breweries with 39 medals (among them 12 gold, 14 silver, and 13 bronze).

500: The maximum number of barrels that the first Whole Foods Market brewpub can produce on its 50-barrel brewhouse each year. Whole Foods Market Brewing Co. opened on November 6 in the new Post Oak location in Houston, Texas, with a lineup of house brews, including the produce-aisle inspired Sweet Potato Weizenbock.
