Microbiologist Michael Barnhart, originally from Fort Collins, Colorado, has opened Double Helix Brewing Consulting in Miamisburg, Ohio. He plans to outsource his services to homebrewers and microbrewers who can't afford the equipment or personnel needed to test yeast. Currently Barnhart is working out of his home but plans to move in to a dedicated space and to launch online sales of simple testing supplies as well.
